The Latino Staff and Faculty Association (LSFA) was funded in 1983 as a professional organization dedicated to empower, support, and assist in the professional development, advancement, and upward mobility of, primarily Latin@, staff and faculty through networking and education at the UCLA campus. LSFA was also created to foster a sense of community and solidarity among Latin@ professionals as well as become a hub for resources for professional and personal growth that benefit Latin@s at UCLA
Our Vision and Goals
- To foster better and more effective staff relationships through fellowship and professional networking.
- To aid the UCLA Latina/o employees and faculty in improving their professional skills.
- To provide an open forum in which concern of Latina/o employees at UCLA may be aired.
- To encourage the upward mobility of UCLA Latina/o employees in accordance with UCLA's objectives of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan and through the celebration of accomplishments of on- and off-campus Latina/os.
