The Latino Staff & Faculty Association (LSFA) was founded in 1983 as a professional organization dedicated to empower, support, and assist in the professional development, advancement, and upward mobility of, primarily Latino, staff and faculty through networking and education at the UCLA campus. LSFA was also created to foster a sense of community and solidarity among Latino professionals as well as become a hub of resources for professional and personal growth that benefit Latinos at UCLA.
Our Vision and Goals
- To foster better and more effective staff relationships through fellowship and professional networking.
- To aid the UCLA Latina/o employees and faculty in improving their professional skills.
- To provide an open forum in which concern of Latina/o employees at UCLA may be aired.
- To encourage the upward mobility of UCLA Latina/o employees in accordance with UCLA's objectives of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Plan and through the celebration of accomplishments of on- and off-campus Latina/os.
